Three Ways to Pass the Time during a pandemic

When you’re checked into a hotel and looking for something to do, leaving your room to participate in different activities can feel challenging in the midst of a global pandemic.

As a result, many of you may feel bound to your hotel room with nothing to do. And while your options may be limited, here are a couple of activities that can help you pass the time.

Whether it’s the 50+ emails you might not have gotten to or a passion project that needs a simple task finished, if you’re sitting around with nothing to do, this can be a good time to finish those simple tasks. This can be a great use of your time and can alleviate some stress down the road as well.

When some people pack their bags and suitcases and check in to a hotel, sometimes they bring a book or two to read in their spare time. However, people don't always have enough time to get to reading or they just spend most of their time on their electronic devices instead. Now more than ever is a great time to sit back, unwind and open that book that you've been wanting to read.

As we get older and take on more responsibility, circumstances can sometimes limit the amount of time we spend keeping in touch with good friends and loved ones. If there isn’t anything on your plate and you feel stuck, this might be a good opportunity to pick up the phone or open your keyboard and reach out to someone you haven't connected with in a long time.

A change of scenery could be just what you need to step away and take a moment for yourself during these stressful times.  Whether it's a staycation or recharging for business, our Vancouver hotel offers something for everyone.  The health and safety of our guests and team is our number one priority. Choose your next visit to Vancouver with us.
